Food Trial: Sorrel

Sorrel (Rumex acetosa) was offered to the crab tank and was received with more enthusiasm than spinach ever was. Like spinach, sorrel is high in oxalates, so it should be fed infrequently so as not to inhibit calcium absorption. It may be growing wild in your area and it is considered safe and nutritious.
Detailed nutrient information on sorrel can be seen here: http://recipes.wikia.com/wiki/Sorrel_Nutrient_Chart_-_100_grams
