Hibiscus

Previously, I experimented with fresh hibiscus flowers from my garden. The crabs completely ignored them at that time. Well, this year, the blossoms were very plentiful, so I tried them in the crabitat again. This time, I got very enthusiastic results! The crabs spent a lot of time munching on the fresh pale pink petals. The stamen, leaves, etc were ignored. The green base of one whole flower was removed and pushed to the back of the tank by the crabs.

Of course, we already know that hibiscus blossoms are safe. I'm just reporting on the results I personally had recently.

Perhaps they favor the color pink?
