Mulberry Tree Bark

We cut up a young mulberry tree sapling, stripped off the leaves, and added the branches to the tank as a climber. The hermit crabs took to it very quickly, climbing about and stripping little portions of the bark off to eat. The branch has been in there for 2 weeks now and all of the crabs are fine. So, we can now add mulberry bark to our safe foods list along with the fruit and leaves of the same tree!
